U.S. Equity
Fund
The
primary objective of the U.S. Equity Fund is to seek
growth opportunities in industries otherwise unavailable to
domestic investors. Thus, cyclical stocks tend to be avoided,
as these are readily available in Canada. This approach contributes
to
the diversification of any Canadian based portfolio, avoids
duplication and provides the framework for a comprehensive equity
strategy. The focus is generally on the large capitalization
multinationals in order to maximize liquidity and minimize currency
risk. The focus is also on companies that have consistent growth
records, high returns on invested capital
and dominant market
positions.
